It has been said, “Honesty cost a lot, but dishonesty cost more.” Isn’t that the truth? Honesty is the foundation to building any relationship. It proves to be hard work, and takes time to sustain, but honesty builds more meaningful relationships long term.
The Bible says in Proverbs 10:9a (MSG), “Honesty lives confident and carefree.” Honesty is core value that must be consistently practiced in every facet of our lives. This is the only way that we can pursue a truly carefree life long term.
However, honesty is a process and must be continually practiced in order to make it a habit. Much like anything that we strive to do. It ultimately comes down to a decision. We all are one decision away from a different life both positive and negative.
I encourage you to ponder the idea of how to live more confident and carefree through this important value of honesty. In addition, to how we are one decision away from a different life.
